Eastman Chemical Company, Institute of Chemical Technology, Michigan State University
About
I am currently a Senior Chemical Engineer in Scale-up and Process Innovation division at Eastman Chemical Company. I am a Dual Ph.D. graduate in Green Technology and Chemical Engineering who worked in collaboration between Michigan State University, USA and Institute of Chemical Technology, India. I work on solving industrial problems that arise while scaling up industrial processes. At Eastman, I lead and execute scale-up and process improvement projects in support of industrial growth and manufacturing areas. Additionally, I apply heterogeneous catalysis to develop and drive new technologies and solutions to existing and new areas of interest. My research background is based on the valorization of renewable biomass to value-added fuels and chemicals using catalytic and electrocatalytic processes. I have skilled expertise in heterogeneous catalysis, analytical chemistry, analytical method development and validation, electrochemistry, material characterization techniques, and micro-kinetic modeling.
