About

My name is Dr. Punyaban Patel I have passed bachelor degree in Science(Physics), bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, PG Diploma in Computer Application, Master of Engineering (Computer Science and Engineering), PhD in (Computer Sc and Engineering), Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management (2 years(2019-2021) PGDBM course) from NMIMS, Mumbai. I have been joined as Lecturer (March, 1999), Sr. Lecturer (2004), Asst. Professor from 2005 to 2014 in Computer Science and Engineering and heading the IT department. I have been published more than 100 research papers and book chapters in international conferences and journals, also published 08 UK/Indian design & patents. I have been working as an editor, reviewer, convener, co-convener in national & international conferences. I have been associated in many professional societies and have been elected as fellow members i.e. FIE, FISRD. I have been developed course structure of three subjects in B.Tech(Computer Sc & Engineering) of Biju Patnaik University of Technology. I have been guided more than 100 students in B.Tech(CSE), 10 students in MCA, 2 students in MBA, 10 students in M.Tech(CSE). Presently guiding 10 students in B.Tech, 2 students in M.Tech(CSE) and 1 students for PhD(CSE) & examined 04 PhD thesis in CSE. I have been served as a SPOC (Single Point of Contact) of Purushottam Institute of Engineering and Technology for Campus Connect Program of Infosys Technologies Ltd. Bhubaneswar DC, India, from 2007 to 2012. Then joined as a Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering in Chhatrapati Institute of Technology as a professor in CSE(2014-2016) & Malla Reddy Institute of Technology(2016-2019), Secunderabad, India under Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India since January, 2017 to June 2019. Then, I was serving as a professor in the department of Computer Science & Engineering, CMR Technical Campus (An UGC autonomous engineering college) from 19th June 2019 to 10th June 2026. Now, I am serving as a professor in the department of Computer Science & Engineering, CMR College of Engineering & Technology from 11th June 2026 till till date.
