Dr. Aesa Jaber’s qualifications include Clinical Ph.D. in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Newcastle University, UK), BDS (Tripoli University, Libya, DIP-IMP (Oxford Academy of Medical Science, UK), DIP-Oral Surgery (Oxford Academy of Medical Science, UK) MFDS RCPS (Glasg), Fellowship of International College of Dentists (FICD, USA), Fellowship of The Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH, UK), and Membership of AO CMF Surgery (Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, Switzerland] and Membership of American Dental Education Association (ADEA). He was the head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department College of Dentistry at Sebha University Libya. He is a Member and Reviewer of Sebha University Medical Journal. Currently, Dr. Jaber is an Adjunct Faculty member at Ajman University, College of Dentistry in the Department of Clinical Sciences (Oral Surgery) in the United Arab Emirates.
Also, he is an Assistant Professor, Adjunct Faculty in the Department Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology at Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Dr. Jaber teaches and trains undergraduate students in Dentistry, in their Oral Surgery courses. In addition to traditional methods, he utilizes problem-based learning and team-based learning techniques as a vehicle to promote student learning of concepts. He always allows students to enact problems they are likely to come across in the workplace, whilst enhancing transferable skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, public speaking, and self-motivation. He has over 21 years of experience in Dentistry and has published 20 articles in peer-reviewed journals. His research interest includes anxiety and dental pain control, conducting Clinical trial in the field of dental local anesthetics efficacies, Oral mucosal, Dental Public Health, and dental education.
