Dr. Arfan Ali is a Plant Biotechnologist specializing in cotton biotechnology, plant genetic engineering, CRISPR/Cas genome editing, plant transformation, tissue culture, and molecular breeding. He is currently serving as Senior Scientist at Four Brothers Group, Pakistan, where he leads research on next-generation climate-resilient and insect-resistant cotton and other crop improvement programs. His research spans molecular biology, transgenic crop development, biosafety evaluation, and commercialization of genetically engineered crops. His long-term research goal is to develop sustainable crop improvement technologies through advanced biotechnology and genome editing.
