Serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at C. V. Raman Global University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Prior to this, I have completed my Ph.D. in the area of Inorganic and Materials Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Visva-Bharati (A Central University). Previously, I have worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Materials Chemistry Department of CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar. At the time of Ph.D., I have carried out the inorganic synthesis using hydrothermal, slow layer diffusion, mechanochemical and high temperature ceramic techniques. I am well versed in single crystal structures, powder XRD, thermal analysis, Infrared spectroscopy, Uv-vis, porosity studies. I have handled Uv-vis and photoluminescence instrument to study luminescence behaviour of the synthesized compounds. I have knowledge in time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) technique. I have used Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) technique extensively during Ph.D. Besides that, I am also well trained in Energy Dispersive X-Ray (EDX) analysis including elemental mapping, Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM), Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and Differential Scanning Calorimetric (DSC) techniques.
During my post-doctoral research, I have worked in the area of supercapacitor and electrocatalysis using different materials like metal oxides, metal phosphides etc. At that time, I have gathered experience on Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV), Galvanostatic Charge-Discharge (GCD), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), Raman Spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) techniques.
From my previously gained academic knowledge and postdoc research experiences from reputed institutes, I would like to pursue my dreams of developing science and technologies for the betterment of the industrial applications and nation.
