About
Dr. Fadl H Veerankutty (MBBS, MS, FMAS, DrNB GI Surgery, Post Doctoral Fellowship in Liver Transplant & HPB Surgery) has extensive experience in the field of gastrointestinal surgery and liver transplantation. Currently, he works as the Senior Consultant and Program Director- Comprehensive Liver Care Institute, VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Cochin, India. He had been trained in liver and pancreatic surgery by Prof. Rela, a pioneer in the field of liver transplantation. He obtained his basic medical graduation from Calicut medical college and post-graduate degree from government medical college, Thrissur. Then he undertook his super-specialty training (DrNB) in gastrointestinal surgery. He started his career in gastrointestinal surgery and liver transplantation in the department of hepatopancreaticobiliary and liver transplant surgery at Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences, Trivandrum. Before joining RILDT, he had served as a consultant in the department of gastrointestinal and liver transplant surgery at VPS Lakeshore hospital and research center, Cochin, India. He has published many articles in indexed journals and is a reviewer for many reputed national and international journals. He has bagged many awards in various national and state-level surgical conferences. His areas of interest are liver transplantation and minimally invasive gastrointestinal onco-surgery.
