Obtained BSc (Hons) MSc in Geology, BSc (Hons) MSc PhD in Applied Geophysics with an acquired specialization in Geological Oceanography, Tectonics, Geodynamics, Hydrocarbon Exploration, Groundwater Exploration, Environmental Geophysics, Climate Change and Geohazards. More than 70 research publications, more than 50 conference papers and 05 books in credit. Achieved best paper award of Indian Geological Congress, Dean's award of Dhaka University Bangladesh, Writer's award of University Grants Commission Bangladesh and International Innovative Researcher of the Year (RULA Research Leadership) Award. Overseas teaching and research includes Sulaimania University and Salahaddin University in Iraq, SAARC Disaster Management Center, New Delhi in India, University of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia in addition to Dhaka University and Rajshahi University in Bangladesh. Supervised research of scores of PhD, MPhil and MS students. Successfully conducted more than 20 research projects on several specialization.
