Dr. Yajvender Pal Verma received his B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Hamirpur in 2000 and M.E.degree in Power Systems from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2002 with honors He is presently working as Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at UIET Panjab University Chandigarh. His research interest includes distributed generation, Microgrid Operation, Demand Side Management, and power system optimization. He is Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra, Haryana India. He has two books and more than 100 papers in various national and international Journals and conferences to his credit. He is the member of IEEE, ISTE, CSI and INAEG.
