About

Dr. Santosh M Nejakar received his B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from SIET, Tumkur and M.Tech, in Digital Electronics & Communication Systems from JNNCE Shivamogga and Ph.D. from VTU, Belagavi. Presently he is working as Director IQAC, VTU, Belagavi (on Deputation) Professor and Head Dept of EEE and Dean R & D, Jain Institute of Technology, Davanagere. He has 16 years of diverse experience in teaching; One year in industry. He published more than 20 research articles on 5G networks, OBE and IPR in reputed journals. He filed more than 90 Indian patents and 10 patents were granted and commercialized, also he filed 4 international patents and all are granted. He received prestigious best faculty award from Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology, Govt of Karnataka for his contribution in the field of IPR. Received Distinguished Alumni Award 2025 for the category “Excellence in Technology Innovation/ R&D in appreciation and recognition of my contribution in the field of Research and Innovation from JNNCEAA. He Recognized as Future Tech Experts to evaluate 6G proposals under Bharat 5G Lab, Telecom Centers of Excellence India (TCOE India), Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India. He also became resource person for various engineering colleges in Karnataka on 6G technology and IPR.
