Dr. Shivi Sharma

About

Dr. Shivi Sharma is an Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with over 10 +years of academic, research, and industry experience in AI, ML, Big Data, Cloud/Fog Computing, and Intelligent Systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and has actively contributed to interdisciplinary research spanning smart agriculture, healthcare AI, IoT, and renewable energy systems.
Dr. Sharma has published 20+ research papers in reputed SCI/SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals, including Sustainable Computing: Informatics and Systems, Computer Communications (Elsevier), Electric Power Systems Research, and Signal, Image and Video Processing (Springer). She is also the author of multiple book chapters with leading international publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, and Edward Elgar, and currently has two books in progress in the areas of smart healthcare and computational agriculture.

She is a patent holder for several AI-driven innovations in healthcare, agriculture, IoT, and intelligent systems, including international patents. Dr. Sharma has served as a research coordinator, Ph.D. guide, reviewer, session chair, and resource person for national and international conferences and FDPs. She has also been invited as a guest speaker at prestigious institutions including IIT Bombay and IIT Mandi.

In addition to academia, Dr. Sharma has industry experience as a Team Lead and AI Consultant at NeoGenomics Laboratories (USA) and CDAC Mumbai, where she worked on AI-powered diagnostics, automation frameworks, and large-scale data analytics. Her research interests include LLMs, RAG systems, deep learning, reinforcement learning, intelligent agents, cloud–fog computing, and AI for social good.
