About
Hitesh Gupta is a researcher in atmosphere and ocean sciences currently associated with the National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRWF), Ministry of Earth Sciences, India. His research interests include oceanography, meteorology, air–sea interactions, and climate variability, with a particular focus on marine heatwaves and upper-ocean dynamics in the Indian Ocean.
He has experience in operational data assimilation systems and numerical modeling, and has worked extensively with satellite observations and model datasets. His research integrates observational analysis and computational approaches to better understand ocean–atmosphere coupling.
