a. Awards & Honours
Received Veerapaneni Narasimham Memorial Award for the year 2020-21
Meritorious Research Scientist of ANGRAU for 2013.
Visiting scientist at ASC, Clovis, New Mexico State University (NMSU), USA during February to May 2022 under NAHEP-IDP, ANGRAU.
First best poster award – 8th International Safflower Conference, 2012
Best oral paper award – CPPS, 2021, TNUA, Tamilnadu and DSPP 2024, Hyderabad.

b. Other accomplishments:
Developed First ever and unique weather based fore warning model for safflower for Alternaria leaf spot - recommended to all AICRP centres.
Development and maintenance of wilt sick plot at ARS, Tandur for Fusarium udum in redgram.
Establishment of virus indexing facility at RARS, Anakapalle.
DAS-ELISA and RT-PCR procedures were standardized for the rapid detection of ScYLV in sugarcane.
Molecular characterization of 13 F.udum isolates and 2 ScYLV isolates was done and sequences were submitted to GenBank.
Associated with the development of Sugarcane, Redgram and Safflower varieties (i. TSF – 1 (Kagna), ii. RGT – 1 (Swetha), iii. CoA 17321 (Arundhati)).
Completed the projects awarded through competitive grants from Govt. of AP, DBT etc worth over Rs. 2.3 crores.
Updating and preparation of study material and practical manuals for UG courses; 171, 272 & 373. Guided 10 PG students (1 international) as member.
Acted as content creator for ELCT 272 under NAHEP. Worked as Visiting Scientist at New Mexico State University, NMSU, USA.
Selected as ICAR-IARI Post-Doctoral Fellow for 2020-21.
Acted as ANGRAU - University level nodal officer for IRINS, IT wing in-charge and FulBright point of contact.
