About
He obtained his Master's Degree in structural engineering from Nagpur University in 1990 and PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2000 in composite structures. He is presently Professor in Applied Mechanics Department, Govt. Engineering College, Karad - 415124 affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. His research interests are in the areas of theory of plates and shells, theory of elasticity, solid and structural mechanics, composite materials and structures and fiber reinforced concretes. He has published more than hundred eighty research papers in peer reviewed national and international journals and conferences. He is a reviewer of forty well known international journals. He is also working as a editorial board member of four esteemed international journals.
