About

🎓 I am an Assistant Professor at the New Delhi Institute of Management, affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. My academic journey is driven by a passion for understanding complex socio-economic issues, particularly in the areas of labour migration, remittances, rural transformation, and sustainable development.
I have authored 11 research papers in reputed Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals, presented at international conferences (including San Jose State University, California, USA), and received a Best Paper Award. My research combines rigorous quantitative methods with policy relevance, aiming to contribute to both academic literature and real-world problem-solving.
With teaching expertise in Economics, Business Statistics, Data Analytics, Econometrics, and Research Methodology, I mentor students to think critically and apply analytical tools like STATA, R, EViews, and SmartPLS. I also have experience in academic event coordination, including international conferences and faculty development programmes, fostering collaborative research networks.
My doctoral work investigated the socio-economic impacts of Gulf migration on emigrant families from Bihar, India. I have authored peer-reviewed articles in reputed Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals, including Journal of King Saud University – Science, Healthcare, and Economies, with Google Scholar citations crossing 100+ (H-index: 4).

My academic journey includes research assistantships in ICSSR-funded projects and coordination of international conferences on digital finance, skilling for migration, and sustainable development.

I bring expertise in quantitative research, policy analysis, and econometric tools (R, Stata, SPSS, EViews, SmartPLS), and I remain committed to producing research that informs inclusive and evidence-based policymaking.
