POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCHER
1. Closely associated with high-end research work for an EU project titled – Transition to Sustainable Urban Water Systems of Tomorrow (TRUST). Worked as part of team of researchers from NTNU, in close collaboration with the Oslo water and wastewater authority.
2. Published numerous journal papers in several high-ranked scientific journals – both related to the TRUST project and otherwise.
3. Supervised Master’s theses and reports of students.
4. Contributed to the drafting of research funding proposals

PhD RESEARCHER
1. The topic of research was ‘Systems Performance of Oslo’s water and wastewater system.’
2. Responsibilities in addition to research and publication of journal papers (a dozen in all), included tutoring students of the Master’s course in Industrial Ecology/ assistance to staff members in the Department of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering and Industrial Ecology Programme and some administrative duties. The tutoring work included lecturing, supervising work, assessing assignments and examination papers etc.

RESEARCH INTERN
1. Part of the Joint Masters Programme in Industrial Ecology.
2. Worked on a project on ‘Residual COD in process water used in paper mills’, and this resulted in a Master’s Thesis; which primarily included laboratory work, in an all-German setting
