About
Dr. Muhammad Arif is an Professor of Pharmacognosy at Faculty of Pharmacy, Integral University Lucknow (INDIA). Dr. Arif has completed his B. Pharm from Rajiv Academy For Pharmacy Mathura, (UP). UP. Technical University, Lucknow in 2004 and M. Pharm from Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam.
Dr. Muhammad Arif obtained his Ph.D. degree in Pharmacognosy from Integral University Lucknow (INDIA). He has taught B. Pharm, M. Pharm, Pharm D and Ph.D courses and always accelerating students teaching learning process with passion. Before joining Integral University Lucknow, he worked as lecturer in Achary Narender Dev Collage of Pharmacy, Babhanan, Gonda, (U.P.). He also worked as Principal at College of Pharmacy, Shahjahanpur U.P. He holds more than Sixteen years (including 8 Yrs. Post Ph.D. experience) of research and teaching experience. He has guided 18 projects for M. Pharm and Ph.D. He has extensively published more than 60 research and review article in various journals of national and international repute. He has filled one patents and published one book and four book chapters. Arif’s research interests include extraction, isolation and characterization of phyto-constituents and their biological evaluations.
He holds Life member in Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and Society of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry. He is in the Editorial Board and reviewer of various National & International journals. He received Young Scientist Award given by Society of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry in 2021 for significant international research contribution in a promising start to a scientific career for contribution in Pharmacognosy.
