About
Dr. Sandeep Samantaray received B.Tech in civil engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, in 2013, M.Tech in water resources engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Odisha, in 2016, and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Civil Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Silchar, Assam, India. He works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. His research interests focus on watershed management, hydrological forecasting, hydrologic modeling, and developing sustainable means of managing the environment. He has published 45 international journals and 24 nos book chapters and attended around 65 international conferences (SCOPUS Indexing). He also published 2nos Indian patents and 7nos of South African Patents. He also authored two books published in Taylor & Francis, UK, and one book in Scrivener, Wiley. He is serving as an Editorial Board member of Discover Geoscience, Springer; Discover Civil Engineering, Springer; Discover Atmosphere, Springer; PLOS ONE; Frontiers of Environmental Science journals.
