I am a PhD candidate working on “Identification of master regulators of chloroplast development through wheat leaf expression profiling and genetic approaches”.
In plants photosynthesis occurs in chloroplasts (‘life-fuelling organelles’). I am keen to understand the mechanisms of chloroplast and leaf development using genetics, and state of art technologies to generate knowledge and tools towards improved photosynthesis.
