Geeta R. Bharamagoudar graduated Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering from Basaveshwar Engineering College Bagalkot, Karnatak University Dharawad, India. I have completed Masters of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering College, Sangli, Shivaji University Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. I have completed philosophy of doctorate in Computer Science & Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, Telangana, India. I am currently working as a Professor in Computer Science & Engineering, KLE Institute of Technology Hubballi. I have 30 years of teaching experience. My area of research includes Data Mining, Systems Software, Image Processing, Computer Networks and Distributed Databases, Big Data Analytics, Block Chain Technology, Cloud Computing, Social Science etc. My PhD research work is in the area of Data Mining (Web Mining) i.e A Novel Hybrid Model for Web Pages Categorization, which has much research scope due to ever evolving corporate heterogeneous information at manifold remote locations as a result of advancements in internet technologies, web services in particular.

Published 95 papers. Fifty Eight papers in International Journals, Twenty seven papers in International conferences and six in National conferences/seminars. Published Patents titled “Santhulan: A device for Car Safety” on 18-Dec-2020 Application No:202041053586, “A System and the Method for Secured Data Storage Classification for Agent-based Mobile Cloud” on 18-March-2021 bearing application number 2021101398, “Artificial Intelligence Based Smart Detection of Lung Disease from Chest X-ray on 3-May-2021 bearing application number 2021101174 and received a grant for a Patent titled “SOLAR PV POWER INTEGRATED SMART GRID BASED ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” on 21-April-2021 bearing application number 2021101174.
Received a grant of Rs 6 Lakhs for the projects titled “Cloud based mining Diabetes Data for early Prognosis and Diagnosis in Disease Management” funded by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi under Research Grants Scheme(RPS) and Rs 5 Lakhs for “Data mining and Data Warehousing using Clementine Workbench” funded by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi under Modernisation and Removal of Obsolenscence Scheme(MODROBS). She acted as a Head of department of Information Technology and Master of Computer applications, GMR Institute of Technology RAJAM, Andhra Pradesh, India, a member of Board of Studies, Board of Examinations and National and International Advisory committee, editorial board of International Journals and reviewer of various reputed National and International Journals. She acted as a chairman of Women Welfare committee, Program Officer of National service Scheme, resource person of various webinars, seminars and workshops, VTU Local Inquiry Committee (LIC) member, Coordinator of Intellectual Property and Rights Cell KLE Institute of Technology Hubballi, SPOC IBM Mission 10X and organized various webinars, seminars and workshops. Secured first prize for the project titled “Determining Lifespan of Civil Structure” in Civil Engineering National Exhibition at AAKAAR Technical Fest Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.

1. Has been honored with Outstanding Researcher Award International Research Excellence Award 2023 by Data Processing Research Group on World Teachers Day celebrated by UNESCO on Oct 5, 2023.
2. Has been honored with AWARD OF EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH from the National Level Academy for her contribution in science & technology under the category of “Computer Science and Engineering” specialization having adjuncted during the academic year 2020-2021 by Novel Research Academy, Puducherry India.The academy wishes for her outstanding performance and do get many more laurels in the years to come in turn to promote the higher education in India.
3. Awarded “BHARAT VIKAS AWARD” in recognition of continuing excellence highly esteemed contribution over the years in the field of Education and Community Development on 14th December 2019 by Institute of Self Reliance, Bhubaneswar.
4. Awarded the Prestigious “ADARSH VIDYA SARASWATI RASHTRIYA PURASKAR- NATIONAL AWARD OF EXCELLENCE 2020” by Global Management Council, Ahmedabad on 13-January-2020.
5. Received Appreciation Letter of the hard, sincere and dedicated effort on 20-05-2019 for the ODD Sem of academic year 2018-19 subject Big Data Analytics VIII SEM Information Science & Engineering ,KLE IT Hubballi.
