About
Vijay Kumar Srivastava is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Science at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India, with extensive research experience in pathogen biology concerning Leishmania donovani, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and Entamoeba histolytica. He received his Doctorate in Biophysics and Structural Biology from CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India, and holds expertise in protein biochemistry, molecular biology, and structural biology. Dr. Srivastava has worked as Assistant Professor at Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur. Institutional Post-doctoral Fellow and DST-SERB Young Scientist at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal. He also has mentored many BS and MS students from diverse backgrounds in biological sciences and has supervised several Ph.D. projects as an internal guide. The primary focus of Dr. Vijay Kumar Srivastava's research is to understand the structure-function relationships of pseudo GTPase and proteins of biological importance at the molecular level. His research activity is documented by more than 30 publications, 7 book chapters, and one book as an editor in international peer-reviewed journals.
