About
Currently working as Professor with the Department of Social Work, University of Delhi. Has over 2 decades of teaching experience and grassroots experience of working with civil society groups in the disaster affected areas of Andhra Pradesh. She has worked in the areas of Jogin Reform and Rehabilitation programme in Andhra Pradesh. She has an endearing faith in anti-oppressive practice and has been associated with the Atheist and Humanist movements of the world. Her current research interests are working with mountain communities, coastal communites, rural and urban informal work force for sustainable development in the light of climate crisis, improving gender relations and disaster response.
