About

An AANP member since 2009, Varsha Singh DNP, APN, CT-CP, NEA-BC, FAHA, FAANP is a Neuroscience/Stroke Expert and Advance Practice Nurse as well as part time faculty& visiting professor at Chamberlain University & Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is an expert neuroscience nurse practitioner as well as SME on Stroke program accreditation/management. She has presented at local, national as well as international nurse practitioner conferences and at World Stroke Congress.
Dr. Singh's primary focus is on Neuroscience practice and education for clinicians as well as community members. She is invited to review abstracts for International Stroke Conferences as well as International NP/APN Network conferences.
Dr. Singh is winner of Elizabeth Seton Young Alumni award (SHU), March of the Dimes, Nurse of the year award (2015), State Clinical Excellence Award –AANP (2018) and then Sarah Erickson Award at DNP graduation (SHU). GOPIO Community Service Award in 2020, Fellowship at NYAM (New York Academy of Medicine-2020) and FAHA (American Heart Association) and most recently, prestigious Fellowship award FAANP by AANP (2022)
At present she is Vice Chair for JONAS Alumni Council, A climate change champion. She serves as communication subgroup member for ICN NP-APN group.
She is highly committed to her work as a Nurse Practitioner and fosters education and professionalism for every nurse that she works with. As a faculty, she motivates her student to be compassionate and caring for their patients as it is the core value of nursing. She has quoted many times that ‘Sky is not the limit for nurse practitioners.’
