I am presently working as Professor at the School of Pharmacy, & Dean-Research of Al - Karim University India, where I teach pharmaceutics and nanomedicine and oversee all research activities. I employ a range of traditional and progressive methodologies in the planning and delivery of instruction in physical and virtual settings, with an emphasis on field and experiential learning opportunities.
I am a Visiting Professor in the College of Health Sciences, Legacy University, The Gambia, and a Fellow Member of the George Washington University of Peace, USA.
Prior to joining Al – Karim University, have worked as a Global Business Director of Nano Drug Delivery®, Chapel-Hill, USA (A product development partnership company), and Heading Asia Office presently for Tech-transfer, Liposomes, monoclonal Abs-conjugated Drug Delivery, Neutraceuticals, Stability, Scale-ups, etc). I have hands-on experience in initiating and developing Novel routes for Drug molecules and implementing them on a commercial scale over a 12-year tenure to date, well versed with QbD, Technology transfer, Manufacturing, Formulations, and Regulatory aspects. NDD has now spearheaded these drug delivery strategies with product development and commercialization to treat life-threatening diseases.

Throughout my professorial career spanning over 15 years, I have built high-caliber research groups, undertaken pioneering research in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Drug Delivery, Computational Pharmaceutics, Nose to Brain Drug Delivery, Nanoplatforms for Lungs delivery, Oncopharmaceuticals for solid tumors and Nanocarriers for Skin delivery. My research spans over two decades and the translational impact is evident by Dozen projects, grants, and pipeline products for commercialization (Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India; Deanship of Scientific Research, University of Hail, KSA and other foundations; Clients include Polyfine, Novartis, lonza, Synergy, FMC, Crompton, Semafore etc), and quality research high impact publications (Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Wiley etc).
I am working in the area of Nanomedicine for the last ten years and have published a number of research papers on nanomedicine in peer-reviewed journals. I have supervised a good number of PhD, M.S and B.Sc/Tech students in various research projects. I am an associate member of Institute of Nanotechnology, Sterling University, British Society of Nanomedicine, International Society of Aerosol in Medicine and American Lung Association, Chicago. I have been conferred various prestigious awards and accolades (IDMA, PDSethi, Young Scientist, Dettol Protector, RxIcon).
Over the past decade, I have spoken at some of the most prestigious scientific events as an outstanding keynote speaker on various topics of pharmacy and health and also organized national and international colloquia (UAE, KSA, India) in the field of Pharmaceutical sciences. Besides my academic and research accomplishments, I am actively engaged in various international activities.
