About
Dr. Sanjeev Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, R. K. College, Shamli. The College is affiliated to M. S. University, Saharanpur, UP, INDIA. He earned his M.Sc., M. Phil. and Ph.D in Physics from C.C.S. University Meerut, UP, INDIA. He received Diamond Jubilee Research Intern (DJRI) Award from CSIR-NPL, New Delhi and started research in the same premier laboratory of Physics in INDIA. He has published several research articles in international journals of repute. He is an author of a Book published by Scholar’s Press, London, UK. Also, he participated in numerous international and national conferences/workshops/webinars of repute. He has reviewed many manuscripts of research articles for the international publishers such as Springer, Springer nature, Scientific Reports and Elsevier etc. He received Excellent Reviewer Award. Recently he honored by the C V Raman Prize 2022 and Research Excellence Award 2023 from Institute of Researcher and Institute of Scholar, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India respectively. Also, he is the permanent member of several national and international scientific societies. He is a member of editorial board of national journal and he has conducted national webinars as a convener.
He has research interest in fabrication of nanostructures such as electrospun nanofibers (NFs) and carbon nanotubes (CNTs). Recently he has published several studies on electrospun polymeric light emitting nanofibers which are appearing pretty fashionable for illuminating the solid state lighting (SSL) world. No doubt! Nanomaterials are the versatile and fascinating materials. The development of various nanostructures can’t be ignored in 21st century. When size of the material shrinks upto the nano scale, almost all the properties of the material get enhanced. It means small size matters. In this regard, he stated “Small is Big and Beautiful”. This statement illuminates the importance and impact of nanomaterials.
