Doctorate in chemistry and presently a post-doctoral research scholar. Primarily a synthetic chemist having extensive experience in the synthesis, photochemical and electrochemical studies of functionalized porphyrin derivatives and related molecular systems including expanded porphyrin derivatives, BODIPYs and metal dipyrrinato complexes. Ares of research interest includes: Dye/QD sensitized solar cells, Artificial light harvesting, Photo- and Electrocatalysts, Bioimaging, Macrocyclic supramolecular chemistry for sensor applications, Organometallics and Coordination chemistry.
