About

I am a public health practitioner, researcher and a neurologist with a deep interest in the health of rural and indigenous/Adivasi people. I am trained in India and the United States and have conducted basic science, clinical and public health research. Seeking bigger challenges I left my job in the US to work with Adivasi and rural communities in central India that have limited access to care. For the last 15 years my programmatic and research work have focused on finding grass roots level solutions for chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and other health problems in these regions.
