About
I did my Masters and Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2005 and 2014, respectively. From 2007 to 2012, I served as Research Fellow at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organization, Chandigarh. In 2012, I joined as Assistant Professor at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. In January 2022, I moved to Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab in the capacity of Associate Professor, where I was promoted to Professor in July 2024. My research interests include - (a) Biosensors for healthcare and environmental applications, (b) Clinical metagenomics for the identification of novel molecules towards detection and treatment of Diabetic Kidney Diseases.
