About
Dr. K. Kesavan, an accomplished pharmaceutical scientist with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from IIT (BHU) and postdoctoral training at the University of Iowa, USA under the DBT-IUSSTF GETin Fellowship, specializes in nanopharmaceuticals and ocular drug delivery. Currently an Associate Professor at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, he brings over two decades of experience in developing mucoadhesive and cationic nanocarriers for sustained drug and gene delivery, contributing over 35 international publications, book chapters, and patents. His innovations include TPGS-Chitosan micelles for glaucoma and microemulsions for fungal keratitis. A mentor to numerous research students, he is a frequent speaker at global forums like Phar-East, Singapore and AIIMS Raipur, and has organized national workshops on nanocarriers. Recognized with awards such as Best Paper at nanoscience conferences and IQAC-GGV honors, Dr. Kesavan remains a key figure in advancing translational nanotechnology for improved ocular therapies.
