About
I am currently working in the MetaEarth Lab at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where my research focuses on glacio-hydrology in the Himalayan region, particularly in relation to future water availability. Previously, I worked at the Center for Remote Sensing and GIS at the Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI), Republic of Korea, where I contributed to polar science research.
I completed my Ph.D. in Remote Sensing Glaciology at the Geomatics Engineering Laboratory, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar. My doctoral research focused on integrating advanced statistical methods into glaciological studies to better understand glacier responses to climate change.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a project trainee at the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, where I conducted research on sustainable livelihoods and supported policymaking through the application of geospatial technologies.
