Dr R. S. Ernest Ravindran is a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India, since June 2026. He has more than 9+ years of experience in academic teaching for both UG and PG graduates. He successfully guided three PhD scholars and six PG scholars during his tenure. He has 5+ years of research experience where he published 80+ publications in reputed journals that are indexed in SCI, Scopus and Web of Science. He earned his PhD from Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, in 2016. His research interests encompass nanocomposites (ceramic–polymer) for high-energy storage applications, green synthesis of metal nanoparticles for biomedical applications, low-power VLSI design for efficient memory systems, and image processing for medical applications.
