About

Professor Rajeev Singh is Professor of Chemistry at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, University of Delhi, with a Ph.D. from the University of Delhi and postdoctoral training as a TWAS‑CNPq fellow in Brazil. His research spans materials and hybrid chemistry, sol–gel nanomaterials, organometallic and bioinorganic systems, and applied remediation technologies for wastewater treatment; he has led multiple externally funded projects and published extensively in peer‑reviewed journals and edited volumes. He also brings patent consulting experience and a strong record of supervising undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral research.

An experienced academic leader and science communicator, Professor Singh has played a central role in institutional initiatives such as the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership (CIEL)/Technology Business Incubator and the DBT STAR College and Science Centre programmes at his college. He is an active organiser and speaker at national and international conferences, contributes popular science articles and books on India’s scientific heritage, and frequently chairs and coordinates major events aimed at strengthening research, innovation and public engagement in the chemical sciences.
