About
Dr. Suphiya Khan, Associate Professor, in the department of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Banasthali University, India has 10 years of teaching and research experience. My area of expertise is plant molecular biology. I have published one monograph and several research papers in good impact journals viz Chemosphere, Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology, Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, Journal of Environmental Biology etc. I am working on increasing oil yield of Jojoba and fluoride phytoremediation . My current interest in plant molecular biology is plant innate immunity. I wish to work on plant immune system that’s why I have chosen the model system Arabidopsis thaliana- Botrytis cinerea. Comprehensive knowledge of PPIs and intercoms analysis is essential to annotate proteins and to understand biological process on a genome wide scale. Eventually, we would like to link PPI data for the identification of disease biomarkers and potential drug targets.
