Dr. Vinod Mokale is presently working as Head of Department of University Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UDPS) at MGM University Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad)-431003 Maharashtra India. His research focus is on experimental research on nanocomposite materials, its development in the novel formulation, novel drug delivery system, in-vitro and in-vivo evaluation of the same. Nanocomposites are currently being used in various research areas or fields and new applications are being continuously developed related to all existing problems and for the betterment of society.

Dr. Vinod Mokale is a Chairman of Board of Studies (Pharmaceutical Sciences), Member of Research Council (R&D Council), NAAC Departmental Coordinator, Member of Body to draft the teaching and non-teaching policies of MGM University, Aurangabad.

He was the head of department of Pharmaceutical Technology at UICT, NMU, Jalgaon (State Govt. Funded University) for more than 05 years and as principal for 04 years and shown very positive and constructive output by supporting Scientific, all university level Administrative and Supporting Staff along with conduct of Academic and Administrative Audits of the department.

He was the AICTE departmental coordinator at UDCT NMU Jalgaon to look after all the extension of approval and introduction of new courses and along with TEQIP-I and II Phase R&D chairman to looking after all the research project scrutiny and utilization of the allotted funds to the individual faculty members of the department.

He also had shown his credential in research, technical and analytical expertisation in the field of pharmaceutical science and technology. He has 03 years of post doc and more than 18 years of teaching and research experience.


He has published more than 50 research papers in various SCI/peer reviewed journals having Scopus citation more than 900 and google scholar citation more than 1600.

Dr Mokale 03 Indian patent are granted and 01 is at amendment stages, he published 06 book chapters in Elsevier and Macmillan Publication. He also visited and attained several International conferences at Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia as invited speaker and to chair the session in that he also won the best research paper award in International Conference held at Singapore. He has been awarded as Carrier Award for Young Teacher in 2013 from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India, New Delhi, and Science Direct (Elsevier) top 25 lists of most downloaded articles award twice.

Dr Mokale is a Registered Pharmacist by Pharmacy Council of India. He is on the editorial board and reviewer for various international peer reviewed journals. The above his achievement shows his pure interest in research and development.


He has proved his academic excellence and his interest in extra-curricular activities.
He has always been an active participant in various science exhibitions held in India and abroad.

He has completed various research projects as principle investigator from various funding agencies like the UGC, AICTE, TEQIP-MHRD and DRDO etc. and competed successfully.
He is well equipped to grow from challenges that he is presented with.


Dr. Vinod Mokale also visited Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand as a chairperson and to give the invited talk at various international conferences on Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine. Dr. Vinod Mokale also awarded by Career Award for Young Teacher by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India, UGC Post Doctoral Research Fellow and DST-SERB National Post Doctoral Fellowship, Govt. of India, and also he is an editorial board and reviewers for various SCI and peer-reviewed international journals.
