Dr. Minu Singh is an Associate Professor in the Hematology–Oncology Unit, Department of Pediatrics at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Dr. Minu Singh is an Associate Professor in the Hematology–Oncology Unit, Department of Pediatrics at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. Trained in molecular biology (PhD, Panjab University), her research focuses on the molecular and genomic underpinnings of pediatric hematological malignancies, particularly acute leukemias.
Her work integrates genomics, transcriptomics, and emerging regulatory mechanisms—including RNA modifications (m6A), non-coding RNAs, pharmacogenomics, and microproteins—to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets. She leads multiple funded projects from national and international agencies, including the American Society of Hematology and the Department of Biotechnology, India.
Dr. Singh has an extensive publication record in high-impact journals and has contributed significantly to understanding treatment response, toxicity, and disease biology in pediatric leukemia. Her research on thiopurine pharmacogenomics, especially involving NUDT15 and TPMT variants, has provided important insights into personalized therapy.
A recipient of several prestigious awards, including the ASH Explorer Pathway Research Award (2024) and UICC fellowships, she is an active member of leading international societies such as ASH, SIOP, EHA, and EACR. Her long-term goal is to translate molecular insights into clinically actionable strategies to improve outcomes and enable precision medicine in pediatric cancer care.
