Prof. Chanderdeep Tandon, FRSB, FRSC is currently Additional Pro-VC & also Dean, Faculty of Biosciences & Biotechnology Amity University Uttar Pradesh Noida.
Before this, he served as Dean - Faculty of Sciences, Amity University Punjab Mohali; Dean-Biosciences & Biotechnology and Director, Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University, Noida , India.
Conferred Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).
Conferred Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (FRSB).
He is a Ph.D from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India and Post-doctorate from University of Kansas Medical Centre (KUMC) USA. He has more than 27 years of research and teaching experience.
His major research interests are:
• Deciphering the molecular mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of kidney stone formation using proteomic approaches
• Development of an antilithiatic drug (plant based) and therapeutic proteins
