Clinical microbiologist and an ardent researcher, specializing in infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance. As a key member of the Antimicrobial Resistance Cell, contributes actively to research and policy development on infection control and stewardship programs. Key research areas include emerging multidrug-resistant and extensively drug-resistant organisms, epidemiology of hospital-acquired infections, and antimicrobial susceptibility patterns in critical clinical settings, including urinary tract and bloodstream infections. Contributes actively to national and international multicentric studies on AMR surveillance and the implementation of antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship programs, integrating One Health approach.A sought-after speaker at national and international conferences, she remains committed to improving microbiological practices and patient outcomes.
