Shailesh Kulkarni, PhD, graduated in 1996, Masters in 2006 and PhD in 2017 in Scalable Video Encoding Framework optimization from Savitribai Phule Pune University (Formerly Pune University), Pune. He is teaching various courses at undergraduate and graduate studies since 1997 with an emphasis on project-based learning. He is currently working as Professor at department of electronics and telecommunication, Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune, India. His area of research interest includes Video Coding and Embedded system. His current activity in the research involves deployment of AI Algorithms on the edge devices towards low power and low latency for real time application.
