About
I am Dr. K. Lalitha, an Assistant Professor. I completed my Ph.D. in Biotechnology at Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. My doctoral research focused on the isolation, identification, and mass production of entomopathogenic nematodes and their symbiotic bacteria for the biological control of agricultural insect pests.
My research interests include microbiology, biotechnology, nanobiotechnology, green synthesis of nanoparticles, biological pest control, microbial biotechnology, and environmental biotechnology. I am particularly interested in developing eco-friendly and sustainable technologies for agriculture and public health.
I have published several research papers in peer-reviewed international journals. I have experience in molecular biology, microbial culture techniques, PCR, UV–Visible spectroscopy, FTIR, XRD, SEM, EDAX, DLS, and antimicrobial and larvicidal studies.
As an educator, I am committed to providing quality education, guiding students in research, and promoting scientific innovation through teaching and collaborative research
