About
Dr. Sandip Swarnakar is currently working as Associate Professor in the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at K. L. University, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. He has 13+ years of extensive experience in Academics in India. He completed his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from DIT University, Dehradun in 2018. He obtained his M.Tech in VLSI Design from CDAC, Mohali, in 2010; he received MHRD scholarship during M.Tech. He did his B.Tech (2008) in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology (currently MAKAUT), West Bengal, India.
During his 13 years of service, he served at various positions like Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor and HOD in various organizations. He has supervised many B.Tech & M.Tech dissertations. He has published more than 45 research articles in national and international SCI and SCOPUS journals and conferences. He has presented many articles at conferences held in all over India. He has published one patent also. He has reviewed many more SCI journals of IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, OPTICA, and SPIE. He is active Editorial Board Member in i-manager’s Journal on Instrumentation and Control Engineering (JIC), and Frontier in Optics. His current research interests include optical fiber sensors, nano and biophotonics, photonic and plasmonic devices, and waveguide and interferometer. He is a Member of the Optical Society of India (OSI), IEEE, OPTICA and SPIE. He has delivered many invited talks and serves as the session chair of national and international conferences. Dr. Sandip has organized many FDPs, STTPs, Workshops and Technical Events successfully. He has designed the course curriculums of Photonics and VLSI related courses.
