Akshat Pushpam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Bharati College, University of Delhi. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the Central University of Haryana. His research interests include Dalit politics, caste and social stratification, political behaviour, Indian foreign policy, International Relations, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, and contemporary Indian politics. His work has been published in journals including Economic and Political Weekly, Asian Affairs (Taylor & Francis), Contemporary Voice of Dalit (SAGE), Asian Anthropology (Taylor & Francis), Indian Historical Review (SAGE), The Round Table (Taylor & Francis)
Indian Journal of Public Administration (SAGE) and other peer-reviewed, scopus and web of science indexed academic journals. He has also contributed chapters to edited volumes published by different National and International publishers like Springer, Manak etc.
