Varsha Pandey received her MPhil & PhD degree in Environmental Science and Sustainable Development from Institute of Environment and sustainable Development (IESD), Banaras Hindu University, India and Master degree in Environmental Sciences from University of Allahabad, India. She has expertise in remote sensing data processing, hydrological modeling, natural hazards, hydrological processes, hydro-meteorology, risk and vulnerability analysis, analyzing and integrating various satellite imagery and collateral geospatial data using geo-statistical and machine learning algorithms. Her broad research areas include drought monitoring, climate change analysis, crop yield prediction, hydrological and geospatial modeling, extreme event identification, soil moisture estimation, trend analysis, etc. and well aware of many modeling software's and languages.
