About
Currently, I am working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Bombay.
Prior to that, I worked as a senior project fellow at IIT ISM Dhanbad. I have completed my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT ISM Dhanbad, India. Prior to that, I did my Masters in Technology in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermal Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian Institute of Mines), Dhanbad.
During my Ph.D., I have expertise in computational fluid dynamics, turbomachinery, flow, thermal fluid dynamics, multiphase flow, erosion wear, and thermal management. My research projects have enhanced my analytical skills. I am proficient in simulation software, such as ANSYS CFX, ANSYS FLUENT, ANSYS Structural, and EDEM. I am also proficient in CAD design software, such as SolidWorks, Space Claim, NX, and AutoCAD. I am skilled in communicating complex concepts effectively.
My Ph.D. thesis work is the design of a hydrokinetic turbine (Darrieus turbine) and its performance analysis in different flow conditions with numerical simulation and experimentally. The numerical simulation was performed in ANSYS CFX. I worked on the project 'Modelling of wear in radial hydraulic turbine,' which was funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India. This work demonstrated the impact of various parameters on the erosion wear on radial flow hydraulic turbine components with the numerical simulation through the coupling of ANSYS FLUENT-EDEM. I am a dedicated researcher, always seeking a challenging opportunity that provides me with an atmosphere for continuous learning while contributing to the growth of the organization and individual development.
