About

Prof. (Dr.) Kahnu Charan Panigrahi is presently serving as Professor cum Principal at Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology University (GIET University), Odisha. He obtained his Ph.D. from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha, during the academic year 2022–23. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. He has qualified prestigious national-level examinations, including the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) examination. Dr. Panigrahi has contributed significantly to pharmaceutical research, with more than 30 research and review articles published in SCI- and Scopus-indexed journals. His research work has been published in several reputed international journals, including Pharmaceutical Innovation, Molecules, Drug Delivery, Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B, Powder Technology, Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology, AAPS PharmSciTech, Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy, and Drug Delivery and Translational Research, among others. He has also contributed four book chapters published by reputed academic publishers, including CBS Publishers & Distributors and Elsevier. His major areas of research expertise include the development and optimization of advanced drug-delivery systems, particularly Self-Nanoemulsifying Drug Delivery Systems (SNEDDS), Solid Lipid Nanoparticles (SLN), Nanostructured Lipid Carriers (NLC), mini-tablets, nanoparticles, and other novel pharmaceutical drug-delivery technologies. As part of his professional development, he successfully completed a four-month SWAYAM ARPIT course conducted by IIT (BHU) in 2021. Dr. Panigrahi has also made significant contributions to postgraduate education and research supervision. With a strong combination of academic leadership, teaching experience, research expertise, scholarly publications, and postgraduate research supervision, Dr. Panigrahi continues to contribute to the advancement of pharmaceutical education and research.
