Dr. Sanjay Kumar Bharti is Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur (C.G.), India. He received his doctorate degree from the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology, IIT (BHU), Varanasi. He has been actively involved in teaching and research since 2006. He has working experience in several reputed organizations including National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hajipur and pharmaceutical company namely Win-Medicare Pvt. Ltd, Meerut, India. He has published several research papers, review articles, text books, edited books and book chapters in various reputed journals/books published by leading publishers like Elsevier, Springer, Wiley and Bentham Sciences etc. He is also reviewer of many reputed journals published by American Chemical Society (ACS), RSC, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley and Bentham Sciences etc. and editorial board member of some reputed journals. He has published more than 90 research papers and articles in SCI indexed journals. His Hirsch (h) index is 24 and the number of citations since 2014 is more than 4000. He has presented more than 30 papers in national and international conferences and seminars.

His research interest includes rational drug design, synthesis, characterization, biological evaluation and QSAR studies of potential drug candidates, in silico pharmacokinetic (ADMET) prediction, metallopharmaceuticals for cancer therapy. His research studies involve national and international collaborations. He is an active member of various scientific and pharmaceutical organizations like IPA, IPGA, ISCA, etc.
