About
Prof. Dr.M.J. Nanjan was appointed as Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Madras in 1980 and he served in this capacity till 1984. He obtained his B.Sc., M.Sc.,and Ph.D., degrees from the University of Madras. He was a DAAD Fellow at the University of Koln, Germany. In 1984, he moved to Hindustan Photo Films as its R & D Director. He was responsible for indigenizing a large number of speciality chemicals which the company was importing till then. In the year 1997, he moved back to academics and since then he has been serving as Director, PG Studies and Research at J.S.S. College of Pharmacy, Ootacamund, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. Dr. Nanjan has guided 36 Ph.D., scholars and published 98 papers in International journals and has four patents to his credit. He has implemented an Indo-German bilateral S & T project in Targeting anticancer macromolecular drugs to specific cells. He is reviewer for several International journals.
