About
Mithun Sarkar is currently pursuing PhD in the area of Supercapacitor under Prof. Prakash C. Ghosh in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India, since 2017. Before this, he worked as a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Nuzvid, Andhra Pradesh, from 2013 to 2017. He completed his M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2013 with a specialization in Manufacturing Science. He completed a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Kalyani Government Engineering College, West Bengal 2011. His research interests include electrochemistry, energy storage, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, transition metal oxides and sulfides, metal-organic frameworks, 2D materials, carbon composites, and asymmetric flexible quasi-solid-state supercapacitor devices, microwave-assisted solvothermal synthesis.
