About

Dr. Divya Sussana Patil is a Public Health researcher trained in evidence synthesis and qualitative research with a focus on evidence-informed policymaking. Her field of interest includes working in public health research using different methodologies such as evidence synthesis through systematic reviews, overviews of systematic reviews, evidence and gaps maps, realist reviews and qualitative research design. She has nine years of total work experience in research, which includes two years of teaching and the ongoing PhD. She is currently a Research Fellow at Public Health Evidence South Asia at Department of Health Information and a PhD candidate under the EQUIMOB (Inclusive Cities through Equitable Access to Urban Mobility Infrastructures for India and Bangladesh) project [funded by Dutch Research Council (NWO)] at Transdisciplinary Centre for Qualitative Methods, Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. She has experience of working in different research projects, intervention programs for HIV in Karnataka, evidence synthesis and teaching systematic reviews.
