About

Dr. Vivek Kumar is currently a Research Scientist at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Prior to this, he was a Senior Researcher at the Universität der Bundeswehr München (University of the Federal Armed Forces), Munich, Germany. He received his doctorate under the PhilHumans (European Commission, Horizon 2020, ITN project), during which he worked as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Researcher with Philips Research, NL, and the University of Cagliari, Italy. Before this, Dr. Kumar worked as a Research Engineer for the project "Search for Hidden Particles" (SHiP) of the European Commission of Nuclear Research (CERN) at NUST-MiSiS. He has been a PC/TPC member and co-chair for several top conferences/workshops, including ACL, ECAI, ECML-PKDD, EMNLP, ACM-SAC, ICASSP, etc. and a reviewer for several high-impact journals of Elsevier, IEEE, Springer, MDPI, etc. Dr. Kumar is also a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). Dr. Kumar is a seasoned speaker and has given several keynote tech talks.
His research interests include DL, ML, NLP, Domain Adaptation, Mental Health, Knowledge Graphs, and AI BIAS.
