Dr. Deepali R Vora is the Professor in CSE, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune. She has more than 25 years of experience in total in teaching, research and Industry. She has published more than 90 research papers in reputed national, international conferences and journals which are indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science. She has co-authored five books and numerous book chapters and delivered various talks in Data Science and Machine learning. The publication profile includes peer-reviewed contributions focusing on foundational and applied problems in data-driven computing, data analytics, and AI methodologies. Specific research interests span data mining techniques and analytics frameworks, with likely coverage of topics such as clustering, classification, and learning algorithms — typical for researchers working at the intersection of big data and intelligent systems. The diversity of the work suggests active engagement with both methodological advancements and practical applications in computational data science.
She has received grants from government bodies like AICTE, ISTE, DST as well as Industry for conducting research, organising conference and training courses for faculty. She is Senior member of IEEE and a reviewer for many International Conferences and Journals like IEEE Access, IGI Global – Journal of Big Data Analytics, Journal of Intelligent Systems, Inderscience etc. She has organised many value added courses for the benefit of the students. More than 30 students have completed their post-graduate studies under her guidance and 8 students are pursuing PhD under her guidance with 2 students completed PhD. Her collaboration with Avignon University has resulted in research Internship for post graduate students.
