Amit Jhalani

About

Dr. Amit Jhalani is an academician and researcher specializing in sustainable energy systems, renewable energy technologies, alternative fuels, energy policy, and environmental sustainability. His research focuses on biofuels, energy transition, environmental impact assessment, climate change mitigation, and the integration of engineering solutions with sustainable development.

He has published more than 25 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals indexed in SCI and Scopus and has presented over 20 research papers at national and international conferences. He is the author of 5 books and has also contributed to academic activities through teaching, research supervision, faculty development, and interdisciplinary scholarly initiatives.

Dr. Jhalani earned his Ph.D. and M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur in year 2014 and 2020 respectively and completed his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rajasthan in 2009. His current academic interests also include engineering education, Universal Human Values, and the application of Indian knowledge systems to sustainability and environmental discourse. He actively pursues research that bridges engineering, public policy, and environmental stewardship to address contemporary global challenges.
